Lineolated Parakeets, also known as Linnies, are a small parrot species that aren’t commonly available and make a unique addition to the right home. They are wonderful pets, especially for those looking for an apartment-friendly and naturally quieter parrot. In my experience, linnies are gentle and calm birds that truly enjoy being close to their people, whether that’s hanging out on your shoulder, perching nearby, or following you around throughout the day. While they may not always seek constant hands on interaction, they form strong bonds and show affection in their own subtle ways. Linnies also do amazing with other linnies and it’s very common for people to fall in love with the species and eventually add more than one to their flock, especially considering the beautiful variety of colors they come in!! All babies are DNA sexed with certification and will come with a small amount of food to help transition to your preferred diet. Weaned on a custom blend that includes pellets, dry seed mix, dried fruit & nut mix, and a blend of herbs for a healthy start. They also receive fresh chop and sprouted seeds on occasion.
